About Me

Mirjana Ivanisevic, PhD

Clinical Neuropsychologist

I am a licensed clinical neuropsychologist with extensive training in both psychotherapy and neuropsychological services. I obtained my PhD in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from the University of Kansas. I went on to complete my predoctoral internship and postdoctoral training in the northeast. I completed by internship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and my postdoctoral fellowship at the Boston VA Medical Center.

I have extensive training in a variety of evidence-based treatments. My therapeutic approach is primarily rooted in an integrative framework, which focuses on drawing on from various therapeutic approaches, including – Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior (DBT), emotion-focused, and attachment-based – to help clients learn tools and skills they need to improve their overall psychological health and well-being. I work with each client to individualize their treatment, by tailoring the therapeutic intervention to meet each client’s individual needs, past experiences, and therapy goals.

More About Me

I approach from a clinical framework guided by emphasizing rapport with client, empathetic listening, compassionate guidance, and a collaborative process to help the client meet their therapy goals.

As a trained clinical neuropsychologist, I also offer comprehensive psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological evaluations. The evaluation includes a comprehensive diagnostic interview, neuropsychological testing, and a feedback session to review findings, diagnoses, and recommendations. A final comprehensive report is provided to the client.
